Puebla Keeper Demonstrates Flawless Game-Losing Technique

In what appears to be a master class on how to lose games and alienate teammates, Puebla keeper Cristian Campestrini demonstrated near-perfect blooper technique in snatching defeat from the jaws of an impending draw on Saturday.

Level at 2-2 versus top-of-the-table Chivas with only seconds remaining, bottom-of-the-table Puebla were running out of options for how to horrifically lose the match. Fans and players alike were certain they would walk away with a point from the encounter, risking Puebla's status as the losingest team in the league.

Luckily for all, Campestrini had been in this situation before and his instincts took over.

Watch as he pretends not to notice Chivas winger Carlos Fierro sneak up behind him. Campestrini's ability to roll the ball gently to the ground only to have it stolen immediately is the textbook definition of game-losing blunder. Marvelous. It simply doesn't get any better than this.

There are few (if any) in the business better at crawling pathetically after a ball than Campestrini.

In fact, it would appear with this maneuver that Campestrini was attempting to knock Minnesota United's Sammy Ndjock off his high horse as biggest embarrassment ever.

We don't want to say things like these are the reason Puebla is bottom of the table in Liga MX. Actually, scratch that. That is exactly what we want to say.
