Two Christian Pulisic goals vs Lecce on Saturday ended the American’s month-long goal drought and gave AC Milan three points they desperately needed.

Milan looked on course for a fourth consecutive Serie A defeat when the hosts took a two-goal lead at the hour mark. It looked like Milan manager Sergio Conceicao was going to be coaching his final 30 minutes for the Italian giants, but then his side did the unthinkable.

Serie A seeks to win the race of becoming the first top European league to play league games in the United States. Serie A president Ezio Simonelli said on Tuesday that the league wants to play overseas soon.

Serie A and LaLiga have been the two elite leagues leading the charge of hosting matches in the U.S. Last year it was rumored that Barcelona and Atlético Madrid would play in Miami, however the idea fell through.

MANCHESTER — Manchester City captain Kyle Walker has joined AC Milan on loan for the rest of the season, the two clubs announced on Friday.

Milan said in a statement that they also have an option to buy the England right-back, with Sky Italy saying Walker would cost around $5.24 million.

AC Milan winger Christian Pulisic will not be available when the newly-crowned Italian Super Cup champions travel to Juventus in Serie A on Saturday, coach Sergio Conceicao said.

Why is Pulisic not playing vs. Juventus?

The United States international limped off the pitch on Tuesday against Como and was substituted at halftime, after suffering a knock.

However, the 26-year-old avoided a major injury and is only dealing with muscle fatigue, Italian media reported.
