NWSL side Angel City FC announced a completed a trade with the Orlando Pride for former USWNT forward and 2015 World Cup champion Sydney Leroux. The Leroux trade sees her move to Los Angeles following an almost five-year stint with the Pride during which she scored 16 league goals in 53 appearances.

For all her talk off the field, Megan Rapinoe usually lets her play do the talking on the pitch. Except on Saturday night during NWSL After Dark. The OL Reign beat Angel City 1-0 at Lumen Field, but not before the first Megan Rapinoe red card of her career.

Christen Press is crestfallen. Rounding into superb form after taking time off for her mental health, the Angel City star limped off the field on Sunday. A day later, she confirmed everyone’s worst fears: The Christen Press injury is an ACL tear, and she’ll miss the rest of the season.

The USWNT is already approaching the CONCACAF W Championship without rising star Catarina Macario (knee) and the explosive Lynn Williams (hip), but another big name might be added to the list of injury casualties at forward after Christen Press was forced off in the 66th-minute of Angel City's 3-2 win over Racing Louisville in NWSL action Saturday.

The 33-year-old was at her best during her time on the pitch, including an impressive run and finish in the 36th-minute for her second goal of the season.

Tobin Heath's time at Arsenal is over. The USWNT star and the North London club mutually agreed to end her contract early after she suffered a minor hamstring injury ruling her out for the rest of the season, Arsenal announced Thursday. Heath signed with the club in September and the contract was to last until the end of the 2022 season.
