United States men’s national team midfielder Weston McKennie beautifully supplied two of Juventus’ goals during the team’s 4-0 victory vs. Frosinone in the Italian Cup on Thursday.
The American midfielder is having arguably the best season of his career and the two assists from Thursday only support that argument.
McKennie assists vs. Frosinone
The first assist came in the 38th minute with Juventus leading 1-0 in the quarterfinal. Arkadiusz Milik found the American with a brilliant switch of the field. McKennie did well to control the ball and then would return the favor with a perfect cross to the Polish striker.

What an assist from McKennie. On first watch it looks like it would be hard to top that assist, but he did in the second half.
The second assist came in the 61st minute with McKennie 35+ yards away from goal. He did well to spot the run of Kenan Yildiz and proceeded to put it on a dime for his teammate. Yildiz volleyed it first time for a spectacular looking goal.

Milik was the clear MVP of the game with a hat trick, but McKennie was the next-best player giving Juventus one of his best shifts of the season.
Thursday’s two assists bring McKennie’s tally for the 2023-24 campaign to four.
Juventus advance to the semifinal where they’ll meet Lazio in the first leg on April 3.
