Giménez’s transfer to Milan from Feyenoord has had a rocky beginning, however Friday’s game was a great sign for the Mexican international.

Pulisic then went from provider to scorer six minutes later with a composed finish from close range. You’ll notice that “Harlow” is on the back of his shirt as Milan players wore the last names of their mothers for Mother’s Day weekend.

The goal is Pulisic’s second in his previous three games for Milan. He has now tallied 17 goals and 12 assists across all competitions this season.

Giménez then sealed the victory with Milan’s third in stoppage time.

Milan and Bolonga will meet again in five days for the Coppa Italia final in Rome. The final is likely Milan’s best chance at securing a Europa League place for next season as they still sit outside the European spots in the Serie A table with two games to go.

Friday’s result should give Pulisic and company some confidence for the big game on Wednesday.
