Earlier this year, Donald Trump revealed his plans to build a wall along the US-Mexico border in order to restrict illegal immigration. Despite the country being divided, Trump has made it clear that he will move forward with these plans and deport illegal migrants.
Omar Gonzalez is an American soccer player who decided to pack up and move his life down to Mexico for a fresh beginning and new salary. The Guardian traveled to Pachuca, Torreón, where Gonzalez plays, to chat with top clubs, US immigrant players and Mexico’s Jared Borgetti. The documentary reflects the Mexican football league as well as the recent rhetoric surrounding Trump’s wall border.
