Sebastian Berhalter is beginning to appear on the scoresheet, with his latest goal for the Vancouver Whitecaps being his best yet.

The Berhalters can celebrate something this week, after all.

Sebastian Berhalter, son of USMNT manager Gregg Berhalter, made his mark with Vancouver Whitecaps in their MLS Matchday 21 match against Minnesota United on Wednesday, practically giving his team the three points by scoring the last goal in the 3-1 win at Allianz Field.

The 23-year-old received the ball at the edge of the box and hit a perfect curler to the keeper’s post to double the Whitecaps’ lead and seal their away victory.

This goal becomes Berhalter’s second in his last five matches, establishing his very good form this summer with the Whitecaps in which he has been able to start and play the full 90 minutes in each of their last six games.

Berhalter arrived in Vancouver in 2022, playing 78 games and providing eight goal contributions along the way, a clear improvement as opposed to his stints with the Columbus Crew and Austin FC where he was only able to make 27 appearances.
