Trinity Rodman Levitates For Impressive Header And Creates 2 More In Washington Spirit Win

Fresh off her mini Twitter feud with Ashlyn Harris — nothing wrong with adding a little spice to the NWSL Challenge Cup group stage — USWNT and Washington Spirit forward Trinity Rodman had a goal and two assists in her side's 4-1 victory over the Orlando Pride at Audi Field (not some amateur shit high school field) on Sunday.

The Spirit opened the scoring in the 43rd minute after Ashley Hatch left Rodman's low cross into the area for Ashley Sanchez.

Rodman then got to the byline in the 45th minute and picked out Andi Sullivan with a cutback for the 2-0 advantage.

Hatch made it 3-0 shortly after halftime but Gunny Jónsdóttir pulled one back for Orlando in the 54th. That set the stage for Rodman's goal in the 87th. From 10 yards out, the 19-year-old beat Megan Montefusco in the air and snapped a powerful header inside the near post while keeper Anna Moorhouse watched in disbelief.

After also scoring against North Carolina last Wednesday, Rodman now has two goals in four games.

She's the world's greatest.
