Watch Marco Fabian Score Against Chicharito's Old Team

Fans of the Bundesliga and Mexico will remember fondly two seasons ago when Javier "Chicharito" Hernandez signed with Bayer Leverkusen from Manchester United and took Germany by storm, scoring 26 goals in all competitions, 17 in the league.

Marco Fabian also arrived in Germany that season, transferring during the winter window from Chivas Guadalajara to Eintracht Frankfurt. Chicharito is no longer in the Bundesliga, but Fabian still is, and he scored against Chicharito's old club when Frankfurt met Leverkusen on Saturday.

That goal ended up being the high point for Frankfurt on the day. Bayer Leverkusen won the match 4-1.

Eintracht Frankfurt is having a pretty good season, sitting seventh in the Bundesliga table and fighting for European competition next season. Bayer Leverkusen is in third and look to be in good shape to make the Champions League next season.

Fabian's goal-scoring form will help to give Juan Carlos Osorio a selection headache when it comes time to choose his World Cup lineups. He will be competing with the likes of Tecatito Corona, Hirving Lozano, Carlos Vela, Giovani dos Santos, Elias Hernandez and Jurgen Damm for playing time in attacking midfield and on the wing.
