Huddersfield Town's Manager Made The Players Go To Sweden And Live In The Woods

David Wagner is our new favorite manager. The Huddersfield Town boss decided to build cameraderie among his players by taking them to Sweden and making them live in the woods.

We bring you this amazing quote from The Guardian:

“We went to Sweden for four days and three nights and we didn’t bring a ball. We were really in the wild, no electricity, no toilet, no bed, no mobile phone or internet. If you are hungry, take your rod and get a fish. If you are thirsty, go to the lake and put your bottle in. If you are cold, make a fire.

“We had three guides with us to help, but if you are always together, in a two-man tent or eight hours a day in a two-man canoe – and we always rotated the pairings – then you have to speak to each other. I am convinced that the better you know your mate off the pitch, the more you are able to work for him on it in uncomfortable situations.

Fantastic. Is it any surprise that Wagner is Jurgen Klopp's best friend?

We would like to see this sort of thing catch on among the bigger clubs. We could make a reality show out of it, like "Hard Knocks". You wouldn't watch Cristiano Ronaldo and Gareth Bale have to share a tent in the middle of nowhere? Or Wayne Rooney foraging for food but he's pissed because he can't find a cheeseburger and then Zlatan shoots him a moose just to shut him up? Or every Barcelona player getting anxious because Luis Suarez keeps complaining about how hungry he is and he's got that look?

Please make this happen. Someone.
