Watch: Cristiano Ronaldo scores absurd free kick to give Al-Nassr comeback victory

Cristiano Ronaldo made his return to Al-Nassr’s starting XI after yet another successful international break with Portugal — becoming the only player to reach 200 international caps — and the 38-year-old came back doing what he’s been doing best this season, scoring goals.

Who said he can’t score free kicks anymore?

Yes, 38-year-old Ronaldo is still scoring free kick bangers.

This vintage CR7 goal in the 56th minute sealed Al-Nassr’s hard-fought 2-1 comeback victory at home, placing the yellow-and-blues into third-place in the Saudi Pro League table with 22 points and four away from league-leaders Al-Hilal (24).

Al-Nassr fans celebrate Cristiano Ronaldo’s international record with awesome superhero tifo

The Portuguese legend is getting the recognition he deserves.

On Tuesday, Cristiano Ronaldo became the only men’s player in history to reach 200 international caps when he featured in Portugal’s starting XI vs. Iceland in the Euro 2024 qualifiers.

He was recognized by the federation and celebrated by fans with a beautiful tifo celebrating his achievement.

Beautiful.

Yet, the celebrations didn’t stop in Portugal.

On Saturday and minutes before the start of the match at the Al-Awwal Park, Al-Nassr ultras showed an incredible tifo of superhero CR7 recognizing the achievement of the 38-year-old with his national team, causing an awesome reaction for the Portuguese captain.

Small eyes and all, Ronaldo loved it.

That wasn’t all, though. Minutes after scoring the free kick worldie that gave them the lead, Al-Nassr fans continued to celebrate their captain by using yet another tifo lifted by the thousands of fans in the stands that named their No. 7 as the ‘GOAT’ of soccer.

You gotta love seeing one of the sport’s greats being treated this way. We sure do.
