Chivas Won The Superclasico, But Ricardo La Volpe Stole The Headlines With His Antics

Club America manager Ricardo La Volpe kicked the ball while it was in play, and it might be his last action for the club.

Chivas beat Club America Saturday in the Superclasico, with an Angel Zaldivar penalty the difference between the two sides. The real story of the game, though, was Club America manager Ricardo La Volpe making a tackle on Chivas' Jesus Sanchez.

La Volpe was rightly sent off.

I have to admit, it was a pretty good tackle. Not bad for a 65-year-old!

The real question now is: how will La Volpe keep his job after this? Club America is not a place where managers get many second chances, and a lot of people think his squad has been underperforming of late. Losing to rivals Chivas certainly didn't help things, even without the sending-off.
