Atlanta United are the (joint) newest club in the MLS. There have been positives and negatives so far with the Atlanta United experience, but there was one big negative at their opener on Sunday.
Look, there will be growing pains. There are currently growing pains. Before the team even played a real match, Atlanta fans did this magical chant, which will live on forever as one of the dumbest chants ever. We didn't think Atlanta fans could do a worse chant than that. They're a new fanbase, so we expect them to learn from their mistakes and get better. Then they did the "puto" chant during their opener. Now they must get better, because there is literally nowhere to go but up.

Things will get better for Atlanta United, and ending this chant would be a good place to start. Really, it's the only place to start. Do that, then focus on other things. Go back to the "you better watch your mouth" chant. Anything.
