University Of Arizona's Sami Baytosh Scores From 15 Yards Out While On The Ground

Here's a game-winning goal unlike any you've ever seen before.

On Sunday, the University of Arizona welcomed UC Davis to Murphey Field in Tucson for a non-conference meeting between the 2-2-2 Wildcats and the 3-3-2 Aggies.

That game's lone goal was scored by Arizona freshman midfielder Sami Baytosh (her second of the season) in the 37th minute, as somehow, someway she managed to lob the goalkeeper from 15 yards out ... while sitting on the ground.

It looks like Baytosh's initial action was to attempt a side volley on Angela Baron's cross into the box, but a collision with a UC Davis defender saw the effort pop harmlessly into the air.

The keeper took a couple steps forward as bodies converged in the area, but Baytosh — with what can only be described as "level 99 awareness" — flicked a right foot at the ball and sent it on the perfect trajectory over the keeper, underneath the crossbar and into the goal.

Wildcats keeper Hope Hisey recorded three saves for the clean sheet, the 16th of her career (third most in Arizona history).

Arizona begins Pac-12 play on Friday with a trip to Utah. UC Davis has a Big West game against UC Irvine on Thursday.
