FC Cincinnati went all in on Kévin Denkey in November with a $16.2 million transfer fee, a Major League Soccer record at the time. Fast forward to May and it’s clear to see that he was worth every penny.

The Togo international has only played 11 league games for Cincinnati and already has two goal of the year contenders. Denkey scores bangers.

On Wednesday the 24-year-old showcased his technique with the ball at his feet as he diced three Toronto FC defenders before supplying a perfect finish.

This was the lone goal in Cincinnati’s 1-0 victory.

Deneky is also capable of supplying the spectacular. Three weeks prior he scored an incredible bicycle kick against Sporting KC.

This one will absolutely be a contender for MLS goal of the year.

Denkey has six goals through 11 MLS games so far as Cincinnati are off to a flying start 13 games into the season. Cincinnati lead the league with 28 points and sit top of the Eastern Conference.
