The 2022 World Cup draw is complete and now the full schedule with kickoff times has been released. One common question American fans will have is “what time are US World Cup games?”
Americans will be happy to know that the U.S. got the most favorable kickoff times. All three of America's group stage games will be played at 2 p.m. ET.
What Time Are US World Cup Games?
Nov. 21, 2 p.m. ET: USA vs. Wales/Scotland/Ukraine
Nov. 25 (Black Friday), 2 p.m. ET: USA vs. England
Nov. 29, 2 p.m. ET: USA vs. Iran
If you're interested in watching the other World Cup games there will be four different kickoff times for the first two sets of group stage games. With Qatar being eight hours ahead of the east coast the kickoff times are as follows.
Group Stage
Brutally Early Game: 5 a.m. ET
Still Quite Early Game: 8 a.m. ET
Leisurely Morning Game: 11 a.m. ET
Afternoon Game: 2 p.m. ET
The latter games in the tournament will be held later in the day to get the maximum number of viewers.
Final Round Of Group Stage/Knockout Rounds
Morning Game: 10 a.m. ET
Afternoon Game: 2 p.m. ET
FIFA and Qatar were considerate enough to schedule some games at 10 p.m. local time giving American fans an afternoon game to watch. The days that the USMNT plays are going to be the same day that you suddenly feel quite ill and must stay home from work or school.
The opening game of the 2022 World Cup is on Nov. 21 and will feature Senegal playing Netherlands. The first kickoff falls under the “Brutally Early Game” category and is on a Monday so good luck to all the journalists covering that one.

Nov. 23, 2 p.m. ET: Canada vs. Belgium
Nov. 27, 11 a.m. ET: Canada vs. Croatia
Dec. 1, 10 a.m. ET: Canada vs. Morocco
