Cristiano Ronaldo turned 40 this February and hasn’t lost an ounce of his competitiveness. A “Ronaldo kicks ball into stands” video from Al Nassr’s 3-2 defeat to Al Ettifaq on Friday has gone viral.
In stoppage time Al Nassr were down a goal and in desperate need of an equalizer. The Saudi giants then went down a man after new star signing Jhon Durán was given a ridiculous red card.
Durán playfully tapped an opponent on the back of the head and the Al Ettifaq player acted as if he’d received a brutal right hook to the cranium. Durán was sent off and in response Ronaldo booted the game ball into orbit.

Ronaldo wasn't punished for his actions.
Al Nassr sit fourth in the Saudi Pro League following the loss and are 12 points adrift from league leaders Al Ittihad. It’s looking unlikely that CR7 will win a domestic title in Saudi Arabia with his contract expiring this summer.
Ronaldo has 24 goals in 28 appearances across all competitions for Al Nassr this season.
