The USMNT steamroll New Zealand and punch their ticket to the U-20 World Cup quarterfinals

Are you getting all excited? Well, you have the right to do it.

The USMNT is cruising the U-20 World Cup and, after routing New Zealand 4-0 on Tuesday, got a spot in the tournament's quarterfinals.

USMNT goals vs New Zealand

It was a dominant performance from the US.

Owen Wolff scored a slo-mo 20-yard shot in the first shot on target for the Stars and Stripes and the team never looked back.

Sure, it took a while before the second goal arrived, but New Zealand never had the resources to challenge the result.

Cade Cowell, Justin Che and Rokas Pukštas were the other players finding the net in a game that was nearly perfect.

Sweet! Sweet! And sweet!

The USMNT has won all four games in the tournament, scoring a great total of 10 goals. Most impressively, they still haven't conceded. So kudos to Gaga Slonina and the defensive line for that amazing job, too.

What's next? The United States will fight for a ticket into the semifinals on June 4, facing the winner of the match between Uruguay and Gambia, scheduled for June 1.
