Tyler Adams Calls Out Bundesliga BS Of Bayern Buying Every Quality Player In The League

Bayern Munich thrashed RB Leipzig 4-1 on Saturday to go up to second in the Bundesliga on the quest for a tenth straight league title.

Tyler Adams, who played every minute of World Cup qualifying for the USMNT, didn’t feature in RB Leipzig’s defeat. The 22-year-old has still made headlines for his comments on Bayern’s tendency to purchase the best talent from the Bundesliga.

Bayern’s dominance in the past decade isn’t an anomaly. I recently compiled a list of Bayern’s Bundesliga acquisitions over the last ten transfer windows. It’s easy to be a league champion when one team buys any player that poses a threat.

Adams is frustrated not only with Bayern’s monetary monarchy, but the other Bundesliga clubs' willingness to sell players to the Bavarian giants. He told the Athletic in an interview exactly how he feels about the matter.

“Most people who know me know just how competitive I am,” Adam said. “And nothing, nothing gets me more angry than the fact that all the German clubs just sell to them (Bayern Munich). It boggles my mind, man. It really does suck.”

RB Leipzig finished second behind Bayern last season. During the latest summer transfer window, the German giants acquired the Red Bulls’ best defender Dayot Upamecano, star midfielder Marcel Sabitzer and manager Julian Nagelsmann.

Leipzig was gutted this summer and it shows in the standings as the Red Bulls continue to drop with only three points from four games.

The only consolation for Leipzig is that the sole goal scored against Bayern on Saturday was a screamer.
