Lionel Messi's bodyguard challenges Logan Paul to a boxing match: "Let's do the fight for the people."

In the world of social media and viral moments, it seems like nothing is ever truly inconsequential. Case in point: Yassine Cheuko, the bodyguard of soccer legend Lionel Messi, has recently found himself at the center of a media frenzy after issuing a challenge to WWE star and social media influencer Logan Paul.

The drama started when Logan Paul, known for his larger-than-life personality, issued a public challenge to the Inter Miami forward amidst their ongoing legal disputes over their respective hydration brands — PRIME Hydration and Mas+.

While Messi likely wasn’t paying much attention to the 'challenge,' the situation took an unexpected turn when Cheuko was approached and asked for his thoughts on the Paul's message to Messi.

Cheuko revealed that Messi had no clue who Logan Paul even was. But then, Cheuko dropped a bombshell: rather than Messi stepping into the ring, he boldly urged the American entertainer to face him instead. What initially seemed like a viral, throwaway remark soon gained serious traction.

In a video uploaded to his X (formerly Twitter) account, the bodyguard and avid MMA fighter called out Logan Paul, urging him to make the fight happen. Sporting an Argentina training zip-up and sipping on a bottle of Mas+ (a nod to Messi’s hydration brand), Cheuko doubled down on his challenge.

"Listen, Logan... I'm doing this video because a lot of people stop me on the street, they send me messages, I get a lot of comments on Instagram about this fight, so now the reverse is broken, there is now way out... let's do the fight, for the people" said Cheuko.

For those unfamiliar with his fighting credentials, Cheuko is no stranger to the combat sports world, frequently sharing footage of his gym sessions and time spent in the ring.
