“I didn’t even notice!” — Christian Pulisic reacting to the USMNT’s ‘Dos A Cero’ victory over Mexico

Dos A Cero again.

Christian Pulisic had a hilarious post-game reaction to the U.S. men’s national team’s 2-0 victory over Mexico in the Concacaf Nations League Final on Sunday.

Despite not getting on the scoresheet for the USMNT in either of their knockout games in the Nations League this week (all while being in perhaps the best goalscoring form of his career with AC Milan this season), Puli was constantly one of the most dangerous players for the USA.

He was creating space in between the Mexican lines of defense and almost opened the scoring in the final after an outrageous control and shot that was stopped by Guillermo Ochoa.

Captain America was in hot form. So much hot form that he completely disregarded the iconic scoreline that sealed the USMNT’s Nations League victory over El Tri.

Christian Pulisic celebrates ‘Dos A Cero’ victory vs. Mexico

Shortly after the award ceremony and during the Americans’ celebrations, Pulisic was caught surprised that he hadn’t noticed the U.S. defeated Mexico with their iconic ‘Dos A Cero’ scoreline.

“Oh I didn’t even notice! Little ‘Dos A Cero’… that’s what we like to see!” said the American captain.

It will never get old, will it?

This most recent 2-0 scoreline has turned the USMNT into the kings of the Concacaf Nations League.

With Pulisic as Team USA's leader and captain, the national team has won the tournament in each of its first three editions, confirming their current era of dominance over Mexico and everyone in Concacaf.
