I’m almost embarrassed to admit how much I watch the show “Survivor.” Ever since the first season, I’ve been a huge fan. All through high school, my Thursday night routine involved getting home from soccer practice and tuning in to “Survivor” with my parents. So now that I hear “Survivor” creator Mark Burnett is working on a competition-based MLS reality show for Major League Soccer, you know I’m excited.
When actors Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney purchased fifth-tier Wrexham AFC back in February, they promised to turn the Welsh side into a global force, safeguard the club’s history (it’s the third oldest football team in the world), invest in the women’s squad and redevelop the 157-year-old Racecourse Stadium.
Believe it or not, there exists a population of humans who have never seen a single episode of “Ted Lasso.” If you belong to such a group, let me tell you now is the best time to get into Ted Lasso.
Season 2 of “Ted Lasso” has been building to a crescendo for a while now. Since Episode 208, the hits have kept coming. But the penultimate episode of the season, “Midnight Train To Royston,” felt a bit like a big tease. There were no real major plot revelations and the one new storyline felt forced and awkward.
Funniest. Funeral. Ever. With a side of some heart-wrenching moments. It was the quintessential “Ted Lasso” episode, and it had me laughing through tears for nearly 45 minutes.

On Tuesday, Nov. 2, the latest club-focused soccer documentary lands on Amazon Prime Video: FC Bayern — Behind the Legend.
All six episodes will be available for streaming that day, and we really have high hopes for this one given the period in which it was filmed.
On Sunday, “Ted Lasso” is up for 20 Emmy Awards. While there’s no way the show wins them all — many cast and crew are nominated for the same honor — there’s no doubt the series will bring home at least some hardware. Ahead of the award show, many of the Ted Lasso actors did interviews on late-night TV shows. I’ve compiled a bunch of the clips so that, if you’re like me and can’t get enough of the show, you can see a little more “Ted Lasso” before Season 2 comes to an end in a few weeks.
It’s about time. After 18 episodes of doing his own thing in the background as Ted Lasso’s selfless assistant coach, Coach Beard, played by Brendan Hunt, finally got his chance to be the focus on an episode of “Ted Lasso.” While Season 2, Episode 9 “Beard After Hours” probably wasn’t the best episode — some might argue it was the worst — it was certainly the most unique, and I guarantee many will say it was their favorite.

Happy “Ted Lasso” Day to all who celebrate the day a new episode of the beloved series is released. This week’s episode was a doozy, spanning 45 minutes, about 50 percent longer than most 30-minute episodes. With the extra time, the writers were able to bring three major plot points to a boiling point with four episodes left in the season. It was one of the most powerful episodes yet.
