Former Chelsea Player Jimmy Greaves Has Stroke

Once again we start off the news week with sad news coming from England. Former Chelsea and England Tottenham forward Jimmy Greaves has had a stroke.

Greaves, 75, is in ICU as of Sunday.

Statements from his former teammates and clubs are pouring in.

"Everyone at the club wishes Jimmy Greaves a speedy recovery after he suffered a stroke yesterday," Tottenham said in a statement.

Arsenal CEO: Making Fans Proud More Important Than Winning

What is more important: winning or making fans proud? Apparently the latter, according to Gunners chief executive Ivan Gazidis.

Gazidis thinks being proud is more important than winning.

Former City Winger Adam Johnson Charged With Sexual Assault

Former Manchester City winger Adam Johnson has been formally charged with sexual assault, according to the Durham Police Department. 

In a statement, the Durham Police dictated that: "Adam Johnson, a professional footballer aged 27 from Castle Eden, County Durham has this afternoon been charged with three offences of sexual activity with a child under 16 years old, plus one offence of grooming.”
