Wales captain Gareth Bale said he is on a "good path" towards full fitness ahead of the World Cup in Qatar, despite not completing a full game since joining Los Angeles FC in June.

Bale signed for the Major League Soccer club after leaving Real Madrid, where he struggled with injury in his last few seasons. He has made only two starts in his 11 appearances for LAFC, scoring twice.

Seeing a coach standing on the sidelines yelling at his/her players is part of the soccer weave. However, this traditional rite seems to have its days numbered after witnessing the new technology innovation in the Spanish national team camp: mini walkie-talkies.

The world's love of soccer stems from many reasons, but one of the most fundamental tenets of the game is that it can be played by anyone, anywhere and at anytime. If you have a ball, then you have your Theater of Dreams. 

For far too long America remained largely ignorant of this fact — believing that the sport was only played 11-on-11 on the pristine fields of suburban America. Thankfully, that way of thinking has suffered a humiliating death (see: MLS 1.0 to 3.0), and the people's game is now thriving across the country's urban core.

Sometimes, we forget just how talented professional soccer players really are. Critics write off league’s outside of Western Europe as “farmer’s leagues” absent of any technical skill or prowess, and they could not be more wrong.

As proof, I bring you La Liga Venezolana. Here, apparently, the world’s best soccer players have all gone into hiding. At least that is what it looks like from this training video released by Caracas FC, which pairs some impressive technique with the most immaculate vibes I have ever seen.
