Thomas Müller is preparing to call a new club home after spending 25 years with Bayern Munich. His next destination? The Vancouver Whitecaps of Major League Soccer.

The move to join Vancouver has been anything but simple. GIVEMESPORT’s Tom Bogert reported that one hiccup in the transfer has been Müller’s “Discovery Rights.”

MUNICH — Champions Bayern Munich eased past Borussia Moenchengladbach 2-0 in the Bundesliga on Saturday as club icon Thomas Müller bid farewell in his final home game after 25 years at the club.

The 35-year-old Müller, who came through the Bayern youth ranks to win dozens of titles including a record 13 league crowns and two Champions League trophies, was the focus even before the start.

FRANKFURT - Germany handed a surprise call-up to Borussia Dortmund teenager Youssoufa Moukoko in their World Cup squad on Thursday as 2014 World Cup winner Mario Götze marked a sensational return to the national team set up after five years.

Germany coach Hansi Flick announced his 26-man squad for the tournament in Qatar starting on Nov. 20, with the 17-year-old Moukoko, who has scored six times in the Bundesliga this season, included.

"Youssoufa is lively and quick player. We are really happy for him," Flick said.
