Cristiano Ronaldo Juventus move rumors are firing up the transfer market. Public opinion is divided as to whether the Portuguese star should leave Real Madrid in search of new horizons or be faithful to the team that consolidated him as a legend.

Truth is, Ronaldo has achieved everything at Real Madrid. Playing for los Blancos, Cristiano has won two La Liga titles, two Copa del Reys, two Super Copa de Españas and four (!) UEFA Champions League trophies.

No club has enjoyed a better World Cup than Atletico Madrid. For the most part its players have performed well, but what's transpired off the pitch has been far more significant. Antoine Griezmann's decision to remain at the club, the Thomas Lemar transfer and a few key contract extensions highlight the strong summer Atletico has enjoyed.

The World Cup has less than two weeks left, and I’m just about ready to curl up in a ball and cry in the corner for the next four years until Qatar 2022 rolls around. But alas, noone can stay away from the sport for that long. After the World Cup ends (sad, I know), the attention then becomes on the club scene again, particularly the International Champions Cup schedule. 

European teams travel all over the globe for some preseason training camps and friendlies. The biggest set of friendlies, however, often happens in the United States. 

Just days after it was reported that Real Madrid had lowered Cristiano Ronaldo’s buyout clause from over $1 billion to just $140 million, the latest rumors see Juventus meeting that asking price with a sensational swoop for the five-time Ballon d’Or winner. 

Barcelona is unhappy with defender Gerard Pique and his strange role in the even stranger documentary special, Antoine Griezmann’s ‘The Decision” that aired on a Spanish pay-per-view channel last Thursday night in Spain. Pique is the owner of film production company Kosmos Studios, the company which produced Griezmann’s decision film.

Anyone else hungry for nachos? I mean, I’m always hungry for nachos, but something about that Nacho goal vs Portugal has me even hungrier that usual.

The first half of the Portugal-Spain matchup was absolutely bonkers. But the second half didn’t peter out like the first season of Westworld (I haven’t watched Season 2, so no spoilers).
