Guilherme Biro was sent off in the closing minutes of Austin FC's 2-1 loss against the LA Galaxy, and fans are asking for the Brazilian to receive a hefty suspension. It could very well be warranted.

During added time of the match between LA Galaxy and Austin FC on Saturday, a long ball sent into Riqui Puig, perfectly lobbed through Biro on the half-volley, sent the Spaniard flying following a clumsy tackle from the Austin defender. The Galaxy bench was sent into raging flames.

Fortunately, Puig did not present a serious injury following the play.
The Brazilian’s late challenge, added on to his dangerous two-foot tackle, left the referee no choice but to give the center back a red card.
Fans, as well as various tv personalities, flooded social media pleading MLS to hand Biro a serious ban, with even Apple TV analyst, Taylor Twellman, saying the Brazilian should receive a six to eight match ban for the tackle.
