One of the most enjoyable squads at the 2025 Club World Cup said farewell in fashion on Wednesday as South Africa’s Mamelodi Sundowns danced with their fans after being eliminated from the tournament.
Wednesday’s 0-0 draw with Fluminense at Miami’s Hard Rock Stadium was the Sundowns’ final game in the tournament as the Brazilian side and Dortmund advanced.
The Sundowns kept their heads high after the final whistle with the players and staff performing a dance to thank their traveling supporters.

A beautiful moment from the beautiful game.
The Sundowns finished with a respectable four points in Group F with a 1-0 victory against South Korea’s Ulsan, a narrow 4-3 defeat to Borussia Dortmund and the goalless draw vs. Fluminense.
Of the four African teams that participated in the 2025 Club World Cup, Mamelodi Sundowns had the best performance with a victory and a draw.
