My fiends and I attempted to play soccer on bicycles back in middle school. It didn’t end well. It ended in tears, in fact.
So it’s more than a little shocking to see professional athletes that have taken playing soccer on bikes to the pinnacle of it’s art. And it really does have a certain beauty to it, a jerky, easy-rider-with-laser-beams beauty.
If someone can explain how these guys can use a bike wheel to send a ball rolling on the floor into the top corner of a net I would greatly appreciate it.
This stoner shower-thought of a sport does have a name: Radball, which apparently translates to Wheelball in German.
Such poetry; something completely obscure to most of the world is a sport with a simple name in Germany. It’s like we Americans calling baseball, baseball.
