Swiss Goalie May Sue Fans Who Urinated In His Water Bottle

This probably wins "grossest story" award for anything we’ve covered here at The18, but nevertheless the pure egregiousness of the matter leaves us with no choice but to comment.

Swiss first division goalkeeper Reto Felder is now considering legal action against FC Baden supporters who urinated in his water bottle during a recent match. The 34-year-old FC Muri keeper said he is “still feeling sick” after the incident.

Thomi Bram, the president of Baden said he was horrified by the allegations but wanted to watch footage of the incident before commenting.

Well Mr. President, we’d like to see this footage too, because how the hell did this actually happen? Did someone run onto the pitch past security? No, that couldn’t of happened. Did somebody do their business in the stands and throw a different bottle out onto the pitch? I don’t know about that one either, but here is the story from Felder himself courtesy of the Guardian:

“'I have never experienced anything like it,' said Felder of the fans, who also shouted 'now you will get AIDS.' 'That is just primitive filth,' he said. 'I took one sip and realized that it was warm, but thought that it was because of the sun. But by the second sip I realised that something was wrong.'”

Two sips!? Two sips!? Good Lord man, how did it not click right after the first sip?!

It's a plain gross story that doesn’t belong in soccer and supporters across the globe need to stop these antics. Just throw some toiler paper on the pitch and be on your way.

Felder continued, “The mere thought of drinking piss is unbearable. What if, the next time, it is something that knocks you out?”

Great point. Either way, we're reminded of this classic scene:
