Raheem Sterling Should Start For Manchester City Even Though He Can't Shoot

Raheem Sterling is good at everything except for shooting. He is extremely good at everything except for shooting. He dribbles like a wizard, passes like a maestro, defends like a honey badger, moves off the ball like someone who actually knows how to do that and shoots like a man with a cinderblock tied to his foot. He shoots almost reluctantly, like it's something he knows he has to do but doesn't actually want to do.

You may have noticed that there is a whole lot of cool stuff going on in this video, but not very many rippers. Raheem Sterling is more of the "dribble around the keeper and slot the ball into an empty net" type, and it's cool because he manages to score 10+ goals per year using guile and savvy and pace and never really kicking the ball very hard.

It's cool, it's fine, Sterling doesn't have to kick the ball hard if he doesn't want to, but if he were to suddenly realize that kicking the ball real hard and near the goal is a good idea, he would be a force to be reckoned with.

It looks like he sort of figured that out with his equalizer against Everton earlier this season.

Lord help the rest of the Premier League if he learns his lesson.
