As a player and manager, former Celtic midfielder, captain and coach Neil Lennon has always worn his heart on his sleeve.
Now working as the bench boss for Edinburgh’s Hibernian, which plays in the Scottish Championship (second division) — for the moment anyway — the Irishman’s, uh, enthusiasm seems to have once again gotten the better of him.
In scenes that will look familiar to Hoops’ fans, Lennon got into a sideline dust-up with Greenock Morton manager Jim Duffy as time wound down on a Wednesday night match between the two sides, which are battling out to win automatic promotion to the Premiership in Scotland.

The Hibs’ manager was reacting to a harsh tackle by Morton’s Kudus Oyenuga.
And he was still livid during the post-match press conference, which you can see here:

And, as he referenced in his remarks to the press (“Bad old Lenny”), this was not Lennon’s first rodeo. As Celtic manager in 2011, he famously went toe-to-toe with then-Rangers manager Ally McCoist after an Old Firm Scottish Cup tie. You see footage of that battle here:
