Here Is What Cristiano Ronaldo Had To Say After Scoring 8 Goals In Two Games

Cristiano Ronaldo's season was off to a slow (for him) start. As happens when foorballers get off to slow starts to seasons (see Rooney, Wayne and Kane, Harry), the general public begins loudly wondering whether the footballer in question has lost it.

Cristiano Ronaldo has now scored eight goals in two games in the span of four days, so we can safely say that he is still one of the two best players in the world.

In light of this return to the ranks of the legends, even though he never left, Ronaldo had a few choice words for his doubters after Real Madrid's game against Shakhtar Donetsk Tuesday, in which Ronaldo scored a hat trick

"Before I was bad and now I am good because I have scored eight goals in two games," Ronaldo said. "My teammates trust in me, they give me more passes, and from these passes I score goals."

Obviously, Ronaldo was always good, but he's tired of people overanalyzing him based on a sample size that's too small, to put it scientifically.

This qualifies as an outburst from Ronaldo, who rarely speaks to the media. Here's the lesson: Don't judge footballers by their first few games, especially if they are Cristiano Ronaldo.
