The “Brilliant Kit” and “Heartbeat Kit” will be worn for the next year.
The first is an exciting white kit with a star-pattern design paying homage to 40 years of the USWNT. It’s important to note that the Brilliant Kit will only be worn by the USWNT. The men will continue to wear their current white jerseys.
The Heartbeat Kit is one of the more unique designs for the U.S. national team with a dark blue base illuminated with vibrant vertical blue and red lines. Both teams will wear the Heartbeat Kit.
Several players on both national teams were involved in the designs. U.S. Soccer said in a statement that Lynn Biyendolo, Naomi Girma, Sophia Wilson, Kellyn Acosta, DeAndre Yedlin and Walker Zimmerman all played a part in the new threads.
