Crystal Palace’s 1-0 FA Cup final victory vs. Manchester City on Saturday was an emotional rollercoaster even before a ball was kicked. The first moment that brought tears to fans’ eyes was the Crystal Palace FA Cup final tifo.
Before kickoff a special tifo was raised in the Palace end depicting a Crystal Palace fan celebrating with his two young boys.

The tifo shows a moment from 2011 when cameras caught Palace fan Mark Wealleans’ reaction to an amazing Crystal Palace goal vs. Manchester United.
Wealleans passed away in 2017 due to cancer.
His two boys, who were nine and six years old during that 2011 game against Manchester United, attended Saturday’s final and were there to witness the tifo of their father.
Incredible, these lads sitting in front of me are balling their eyes out the TIFO is of them and their old man when Ambrose scored and their dad died a few years back! #CPFC #FACupFinal pic.twitter.com/nGb1KlbcsC

This sport really does bring out the most intense emotions.
Palace honored Wealleans’ memory in the biggest way possible by pulling off the upset against Man City to lift their first major trophy.
