I've played sports all my life, but am starting this journey as a blank slate. I see soccer as a show that everyone has watched but that I'm too far behind to start getting into. Working with The18 will undoubtedly change that, and that's what draws me in: an opportunity to work with passionate people who can teach me new things and have the same craving for detail and storytelling that I do.
I love sports because they give people who may have no similarities a reason to rally behind a common goal. Say what you will about their true usefulness, but games bring us together. I have always dreamed of designing in a sports context, and with some help and some luck I might learn how to kick the ball around while I'm at it.
