Since launching in 1994 ahead of the United States World Cup, the adidas Predator range has become synonymous with the game's history and its most celebrated players (Zidane, Beckham, Xavi) while moving into the future after making a return five years ago.

The latest edition of the boot is the Predator Edge, which dropped last January with a two-piece PRIMEKNIT collar and rubberized ribs across the instep and toe box. Now, less than one month out from the 2022 World Cup, adidas is launching the Predator Edge 94+, which honor the OG '94 Predators.

Every year, soccer teams around the world present the jerseys they'll use throughout the season. The designs vary from authentic art pieces to boring, generic templates that brands try to elevate with a beautifully written but meaningless press releases. 

It's all in an effort to squeeze as much money as possible from their fans' pockets. 

After firing Real Madrid to a Champions League and LaLiga double with 42 goals in 44 games and returning to the France national team with a Nations League title, Karim Benzema beat Sadio Mané and Kevin De Bruyne to the 2022 Ballon d'Or on Monday. To celebrate the occasion, adidas — which has counted Benzema among its stable of athletes for over a decade now — dropped a new signature cleat for Real's captain.

The USMNT World Cup kits are here and everyone's feeling a bit crushed. We're probably going to be the youngest team at the tournament, but to put us in bibs is harsh. 

Already the ugliest World Cup on every conceivable grounds, it seems like Puma has elected to pay homage to that fact with a horrendous new collection of away kits for its stable of competitors in Qatar — Switzerland, Uruguay, Senegal, Serbia, Ghana and Morocco.   

I feel bad for Switzerland. Here they are, qualifying for major tournament after major tournament with a population the size of Virginia, doing things like eliminating France at Euro 2020, and Puma does something like this to them. It's completely uncalled for. 

We're entering the final bend before fall, that time of year synonymous with the start of the European season and the first cleat launches of the campaign. A lot is going to be happening over the next couple months with the World Cup fast approaching, but Nike is up first with the "Lucent Pack," which introduces new color ways for the Air Zoom Superfly, Air Zoom Vapor, Tiempo Legend IX and Phantom GT II.

EFL Championship side Reading FC released its 2022-23 home kit Monday. The Reading kit, featuring a sleeve design that's attention grabbing and even shocking, is a statement on an issue that's often ignored by the soccer community. 

Newest Reading Kit Features Climate Stripes 

The kit features Reading’s traditional blue and white hoops, but the sleeves are notably different. Each stripe on the sleeve represents the change in temperature in Berkshire, where Reading's located, over the club’s 150-year history.
