According to ESPN Mexico’s Sergio Dipp, Javier “Chicharito” Hernandez has agreed to join West Ham United in the Premier League after the London-based club triggered his $16.9 million release clause.

Chicharito will reportedly undergo a medical on Monday before finalizing the move from Bayer Leverkusen. One major note of intrigue is that the Hammers begin their Premier League campaign on August 13 against…can you guess who?

Well, I guess today is a holiday. Bayer Leverkusen has declared today, July 14, as international Chicharito day. The Mexican forward has scored 39 goals in 76 appearances for the German club, and that should probably be celebrated. Why not today?

Mexico goalkeeper Memo Ochoa is staying in Europe after his contract with Spanich club Granada has run out. The 31-year-old will ply his trade in Belgium next season for Standard Liege.

As with any transfer, various fan groups tweeted out ther excitement for the new arrival. One Standard Liege group need to work on their photo selection.

30-year-old Mexico international Andres Guardado has transferred from PSV Eindhoven to Real Betis and signed a contract that’ll reportedly run until 2020, ending Los Angeles FC’s pursuit of the midfielder for their debut season in Major League Soccer.

Hirving Lozano, who’s currently on international duty with Mexico at the FIFA Confederations Cup, has agreed to a contract with PSV Eindhoven through the 2022-23 season. After recently visiting Eindhoven in the Netherlands, PSV confirmed via their official Twitter account that Lozano had agreed to terms with the club. 

Mexico international defender Carlos Salcedo, having wrapped up his loan at Fiorentina, is on the move to Eintracht Frankfurt on loan. Salcedo's rights are still owned by Chivas, where he played from 2015-2016.
