Hablaliga: 5 Players To Watch For In The World Cup

Hi, I'm Giselle Cesin with the18, and this is Hablaliga.

Today we're going to talk about five players in La Liga to be mindful of during this Summer's World Cup.

1. Lionel Messi

The 2014 World Cup Golden Ball winner will have to be at his very best for Argentina to do anything at all.

2. Luis Suarez

We don't know what Luis Suarez will do during the 2018 World Cup, but we do know it will be interesting.

3. Isco

Now Spain's main creative force, a good tournament from Isco could catapult him into the world's elite.

4. Keylor Navas

Hablaliga: Top 5 Players Right Now

Hi, I'm Giselle Cesin and this is Hablaliga.

Because it's the last international break of the season, let's check in on the players in the best form right now.

1. Lionel Messi

Messi is leading La Liga in both goals and assists and is well on his way to being Player of the Year.

2. Ronaldo

Ronaldo is somehow only three goals behind Messi even though he started the season in the worst form of his career. Right now it wouldn't be a shock if he finished the season as top scorer in La Liga.

3. Suarez

Hablaliga: Game Of Thrones Edition

Hey, I'm Bryce Badwan and this is Hablaliga: Game of Thrones edition.

I just got back from touring Girona, Spain with La Liga. For those of you who don't know, it's the home of Girona FC and one of the locations where a little show called Game of Thrones is filmed.

What better way to discuss La Liga than by comparing it to the show you stole your friend’s HBO password for?

Game of Thrones is a story of rising to power and falling from grace, of death and retribution — so it’s pretty much a microcosm of La Liga.

Watch Luis Suarez Create Barcelona’s Second Goal Without Touching The Ball

Lionel Messi scored the opener before Chelsea really touched the ball. Luis Suarez created Barcelona's second without touching the ball. Ousmane Dembele put Barcelona up 2-0 in the 20th minute on Wednesday, putting the Blaugrana up 3-1 on aggregate in their Champions League Round of 16 tie, and Suarez deserves much of the credit.
