LONDON — Seven-time winners AC Milan reached the Champions League quarterfinals for the first time in 11 years as a disciplined display earned them a drab 0-0 draw at Tottenham Hotspur on Wednesday and a 1-0 aggregate victory.

On a freezing night in north London the Italians comfortably protected the slender advantage they established in the first leg of their last-16 tie at the San Siro as Tottenham huffed and puffed to little effect and exited with a whimper.

For the second consecutive season, a Paris Saint-Germain club entirely hellbent and solely existing for Champions League glory has failed to advance beyond the competition's last 16.

Chelsea defeated Borussia Dortmund 2-0 in the second leg of the UEFA Champions League Round of 16 on Tuesday to win the tie 2-1 on aggregate and advance to the quarterfinals. American fans got to watch Gio Reyna and Christian Pulisic play in the match.

For Pulisic this was his first game for Chelsea in 61 days after suffering a knee injury vs. Manchester City at the start of the year. He would only get a short cameo for the Blues as he entered the game in the 83rd minute with his team leading 2-0.

Paris St Germain forward Neymar has been ruled out for the rest of the season with the Brazil international set to undergo surgery to repair ankle ligaments that will keep him out for at least three months, the Ligue 1 club said on Monday.

Neymar, who has 13 goals and 11 assists in Ligue 1 this season, has not played since a 4-3 win over Lille last month, missing PSG's last two games.
