Minnesota United took care of business against Lionel Messi’s Inter Miami on Saturday with a resounding 4-1 victory. The result marks the Herons’ biggest loss when Messi was on the field.

Messi did get on the scoreboard early in the second half, but that was one of the few highlights for Miami.

MUNICH — Champions Bayern Munich eased past Borussia Moenchengladbach 2-0 in the Bundesliga on Saturday as club icon Thomas Müller bid farewell in his final home game after 25 years at the club.

The 35-year-old Müller, who came through the Bayern youth ranks to win dozens of titles including a record 13 league crowns and two Champions League trophies, was the focus even before the start.

A Christian Pulisic goal and assist vs Bologna secured AC Milan a 3-1 comeback victory at San Siro on Friday as the American continued his best club season of his career.

Friday’s Serie A matchup saw ninth-placed Milan struggle as has been the case for most of the season, however a late push inspired by Pulisic led the Rossoneri to three points.

With Milan trailing 1-0 late in the second half, Pulisic assisted his Mexican teammate Santiago Giménez to get Milan level.

Inter Milan substitute Davide Frattesi struck an extra-time winner to send his side into the Champions League final following a barnstorming 4-3 victory over Barcelona on Tuesday after Francesco Acerbi had rescued them from the brink of elimination with a stunning equalizer deep in added time.
