Much commotion surrounded the walking out of Liverpool fans in the 77th minute of Liverpool's home match against Sunderland. The walkout protested ticket prices, which have risen to 77 pounds in some main stand seats (hence the timing of the walkout). Borussia Dortmund fans are a lot like Liverpool fans in that they care deeply about their club and also ticket prices (they are also intimately familiar with Jurgen Klopp).

Borussia Dortmund fans planned their own protest of their club's rising ticket prices, but Dortmund's was a little more comical than Liverpool's.

Javier "Chicharito" Hernandez continued his excellent goal scoring form in Bayer Leverkusen's DFB Pokal (German League Cup) match against Werder Bremen, but his luck may have run out.

Before we get to that, though, the goal: a simple, well-taken penalty in the 22nd minute.

Super Bowl 50 was the main sporting event of the year so far, and the eyes of the whole world were on the game — won by the Denver Broncos. But, truth be told, most people from outside the U.S. can’t really relate to the players and the game itself.

With this likely in mind, the Bundesliga official website decided they would make a gallery with some of their most important names in the league, and comparing them with NFL players.

When Robert Lewandowski was 17, he lost his 49-year-old father, Krzysztof, to a heart attack. Shortly after, Lewandowski was told by his youth team, Legia Warsaw, that he would never reach his previous levels of fitness and form following an injury. 

They subsequently released him, the culmination of a terrible year for the young Polish forward. Lewandowski had put football before everything, dedicating himself to the game and he now had nothing to show for it. Forced to grow up quickly in a difficult time, Lewandowski refused to accept Warsaw’s conclusion. 

The 2-15-2016 Chicharito "Look How Dumb Louis van Gaal is" victory tour is rolling right along, with the Mexico National Team/Bayer Leverkusen striker named the Bundesliga Player of the Month for January.

Javier “Chicharito” Hernandez continues to surprise. The CONCACAF 2015 Player of the Year continues to shine in Europe, scoring a brace for Bayer Leverkusen in the Bundesliga against Hannover Saturday.

The former super-sub turned super-starter at the German club is in great form, scoring his 13th goal in the league out of 16 appearances, demonstrating his importance to the German club and highlighting the reason why big clubs are looking to sign him during the winter transfer window. 

Javier Hernandez has been linked with Liverpool lately, and it isn't exactly hard to see why. Chicharito has been in magnificent form this season, scoring 21 goals in 24 games in all competitions for Bayer Leverkusen. A player of his skill set could be exactly what Jurgen Klopp needs. The German's team has played some good football at times, but a lack of clinical finishing (and some suspect defending) has seen them fail to make any headway in the Premier League table.

Every now and then, you come across a story that just makes your brain grind to a screeching halt. Fox Sports reported such a story this morning. Apparently, Schalke defender and former Manchester City man, Matija Nastasic, was sold...for a washing machine. 

Marco Fabian made his Bundesliga debut Sunday in Eintracht Frankfurt's 3-2 win over Wolfsburg. The Mexican winger proved to be effective down the left side, and had a positive effect on the game, setting up Alexander Meier's winner for Frankfurt in stoppage time.
