MADRID — Ten-man Atletico Madrid dealt a blow to Real Madrid's LaLiga title hopes when they held the defending champions to a 1-1 draw at their Santiago Bernabeu stadium on Saturday.

After substitute Angel Correa had got a straight red card in the 64th minute for an elbow to the chest of defender Antonio Ruediger, Jose Maria Gimenez gave Atletico the lead when he netted a header from an Antoine Griezmann free kick in the 78th minute.

Christian Pulisic will leave Chelsea this summer if a team makes the right offer confirmed soccer guru and journalist Fabrizio Romano.

While Pulisic’s Chelsea contract runs until June 2024, the London club is ready to let him go and could ask for a transfer with a price tag in the $35 to $40 million range.

The replacement for Captain America is already in the squad as Chelsea signed Ukrainian left winger Mykhailo Mudryk from Shakhtar Donetsk for around $75 million in January. Had it not been for a knee injury, Pulisic likely would have been sold in January.

MADRID — Antoine Griezmann grabbed a goal and an assist as Atletico Madrid returned to winning ways with a 3-0 home victory over Real Valladolid in LaLiga on Saturday.

First-half goals from Griezmann, Alvaro Morata and Mario Hermoso earned fourth-placed Atletico just their second win in their last seven league games, while a fifth straight defeat for Valladolid leaves them one point above the relegation zone in 17th place.

Atletico are 10 points adrift of leaders Barcelona, who have two games in hand and next face Getafe on Sunday.

Barcelona forward Memphis Depay appeared to be on the verge of joining Atlético Madrid as he was spotted wearing the club's colors while training under manager Diego Simeone on Thursday.

The 28-year-old Dutch international has been linked with a move to Atlético for the last few days, with several reports by the Spanish media suggesting that the deal was close to be done.
