It has been reported that Spain national team manager, Luis de la Fuente, is interested in the U.S. men’s national team head coach position following the sacking of Gregg Berhalter.
Canada's head coach Jesse Marsch dismissed rumors of his interest in the U.S. men's national team vacancy, reiterating his commitment to the Canadian side ahead of their third-place playoff in the Copa America.
Marsch, an American, took over Canada in May and led the team to the Copa America semi-finals in his first major tournament in the job, where they are preparing to face Uruguay in the third-place match on Saturday.
Yeah, you read the headline. Someone posted on social media that Hervé Renard taking over as United States men’s national team head coach would draw more interest to the team due to how objectively attractive he is. They’re probably right.
