Zlatan Releases His Own Hype Video, Feeds Off It, Scores 2 Goals

AC Milan’s unbeaten streak since the restart reached 11 games on Wednesday (eight wins, three draws) following a 4-1 victory over Sampdoria. Zlatan Ibrahimović — giving more credence to his statement that Milan would’ve won the Scudetto had he signed last summer — scored a brace, giving him nine goals in 17 league appearances.

Ibrahimović’s contract with Milan expires at the end of August, but it was reported on Sunday that the 38-year-old was poised to sign a one-year extension to keep him at the San Siro. This news added a little context to the video Ibrahimović had posted on Saturday across his social media channels, a hype video that served to hype up Zlatan Ibrahimović.

I’m not entirely sure that’s necessary at this point — who the hell are these doubters and disbelievers — but it’ll get you thirsting for some Zlatan in your life.

The thing about the Swede is that no matter how much he talks, he always delivers, and that’s what he did Wednesday.

Zlatan opened the scoring in the fourth-minute with a header.

Hakan Çalhanoğlu made it 2-0 in the 52nd after a brilliant assist from Zlatan.

And then it was 3-0 in the 58th minute after another Zlatan goal.

The best part is — for those that absolutely adore round numbers and can’t help but retweet any round number that comes their way — Zlatan is now the first player to score 50 league goals for both Milan and Inter!

He was also the first person to score 49 league goals for both Milan and Inter but round number people aren’t ready for that conversation.
