AC Milan Reportedly Extending Zlatan’s Stay For Another Season

Zlatan Ibrahimovic looks to be extending his stay with AC Milan after an incredible return to his former club. Ibrahimovic has said that he was happy with the Italian club and now reports say he will play another season with the Rossoneri.

Ibrahimovic departed the LA Galaxy and Major League Soccer in January to join a floundering AC Milan in Serie A. The Zlatan effect was simply incredible. Prior to the big Swede joining, AC Milan was sitting 11th in the league with 21 points and a pathetic record of 6-3-8. After the arrival of Ibrahimovic, the club would only lose two games, win 13, come back from the Covid-19 hiatus with a 12-game unbeaten streak and make an incredible jump to sixth place and qualify for the 2020-21 Europa League.

The 38-year-old is proving that age is just a concept. Either that or Ibrahimovic is definitely in kahoots with Jennifer Aniston's witch that makes him never age.

This season in Serie A he tallied 10 goals and five assists in 18 appearances. Not keeping him around for another season would be nothing short of insanity.

Ibrahimovic made the bold claim that AC Milan would have won the Scudetto had he joined at the start of the season instead of in January. Now he will have the opportunity to show what a full season with Zlatan will look like.

He said it himself at the end of July: Zlatan’s just warming up.

He scored a brace shortly after he released that video. Ibrahimovic hasn't posted anything about extending his stay with AC Milan. Instead he is jumping off of a yacht and poking fun at England with a bicycle kick in waist-deep water.
