Chairman Blames African Champions League Loss On Sorcery

Mortada Mansour is the chairman of Egyptian club Zamalek, and he doesn't like the way his boys were beaten in the African Champions League final by Mamelodi Sundowns. Frankly, he smells a rat.

Monsour, per the Guardian, said this after the match:

“Is it natural to waste 18 chances in front of goal? Things were obviously not normal and there was magic and sorcery involved.”

Yes, magic and sorcery, and not, like, Ray Hudson commentating on a game with Messi in it magic and sorcery. Black magic. Evil sorcery. Dark forces at work beyond our control. People smearing chicken's blood on things. These were the reasons Zamalek lost. Everyone go get your rabbit's feet.

If you see a shaman or similar wandering around, avoid it, lest your soccer team become cursed and lose a very important African Champions League match 3-1. We've seen it happen.

Don't give Jose Mourinho any ideas. Next they'll be blaming losses on spooky clowns.
