Soccer managerial icon José Mourinho was sacked once again on Friday as Turkish club Fenerbahce parted ways with “the Special One” following the club’s failure to qualify for the Champions League.
Mourinho has now been let go by Fenerbahce, Roma, Tottenham and Manchester United all in the previous seven years. Needless to say it seems that the 62-year-old manager has lost some of his flair in Europe.

Opinion: Mourinho should come to MLS
Mourinho’s next managerial stop being in Major League Soccer wouldn’t be shocking. The Portuguese manager has hinted in the past that he has ambitions of coming to the U.S.
During an interview in 2011 he said that he sees himself either coaching a club or the national team.
"I see myself coaching a [MLS] team, coaching the national team or helping develop soccer in the U.S. When I'm tired of winning things in Europe, it's something I want to do. I want to coach the Portugal national team, and I want to work in the United States,” Mourinho previously said.
Boom, his desire to coach in the States is already on the record.
Now we need a clip of Mourinho saying he wants to leave Europe… roll the film!
In October the now ex-Fenerbahce boss stated that when he leaves the Turkish club he wants to ensure that his next team doesn’t compete in UEFA competitions.
"If any clubs in England from the bottom of the table needs a coach in two years, I'm ready to go."

Granted he did mention that a bottom table club in England would suffice, we’re thinking bigger here, José. How about he kills two birds with one stone and checks his box of coaching in the United States AND ensures he doesn’t feature in any UEFA competitions.
He can do this by coming to MLS.
Soccer in the states is receiving worldwide attention at the moment thanks to Lionel Messi joining Inter Miami, the World Cup being hosted here next summer and Son Heung-min’s arrival to LAFC.
A world-renowned manager joining the league could absolutely spice things up. We’re just spit-balling here, but imagine Mourinho becoming the new head coach of Atlanta United. THAT atmosphere with Mourinho’s personality?? Cinema.
Atlanta haven’t experienced much success with new boss Ronny Deila in his first season. The Norwegian manager has recorded just four victories for Atlanta through 27 league games.
Bring Mourinho to MLS. Nothing could possibly go wrong.
