Growing up, my soccer coaches always told me, “You can't kick the ball to yourself.” They would stress the importance of teamwork and how a group can achieve a single goal. Looking back, I know he was calling me a ball hog, but this quote stuck with me.
As I got older, I would trade in my soccer cleats for a video camera, but I kept the mindset.
I know this sounds cliché and corny, but what I love about soccer is that it taught me that teamwork really does make the dream work.
What excites me most about working at The18 is that they also have that team mentality which in turn powers creativity and improvement.
