BREAKING: FIFA announce venues for 2025 Club World Cup in the United States

The 2025 FIFA Club World Cup final will be held at the New Jersey home of the NFL's New York Giants and New York Jets, world soccer's governing body announced on Saturday along with the venue lineup for the revamped tournament.

The expanded 32-team tournament, which will feature leading clubs from around the world, will be held in 12 stadiums around the United States next year from June 15 through July 13.

Kelley O’Hara shares moment she decided it was time to retire

United States women’s national team legend and icon Kelley O’Hara had a bittersweet conclusion to her career as injuries ended her final season early.

She had planned to retire after the 2024 NWSL season, but was forced to hang up her boots in September.

Her club, Gotham FC, announced she was on the season-ending injury list meaning the Bats’ 2-1 victory vs. Houston Dash on Sept. 8 was her O'Hara's final appearance.

Greatest international goal scorer in history Christine Sinclair announces retirement

Canada's Christine Sinclair, the world's top international goal scorer among both women and men, said on Friday she will retire from professional soccer at the end of the 2024 NWSL season in November.

Sinclair, whose 190 international goals is the most among both men and women, retired from the Canadian team last December. She is currently in her 12th season with the NWSL's Portland Thorns, who wrap up their regular season on Nov. 1 and are currently sitting in a playoff spot.

2025 Concacaf Gold Cup host cities revealed — East coast won’t host any games

Concacaf revealed the 2025 Gold Cup host cities and stadiums on Wednesday with 14 different venues set to host games next summer. Notably there are no host cities on the East coast as the FIFA Club World Cup, held in the United States, will be happening at the same time.

The Gold Cup runs from June 14 until the final on July 6 with 13 venues in the U.S. as well as Vancouver being one of the host cities. The majority of venues are on the West coast with a sprinkle of Texas, St. Louis and Minnesota.
